TODAY....

TODAY I decided to accompany Andy and see what this 'occupy Liverpool' was really about. I was there at Barclays bank 2 weeks ago and was also present at the town hall on Thursday. TODAY....we met some people by the Victoria statue, Andy was hoping for a camp out and a real occupation like London, Manchester maybe even New York, but what occurred TODAY was for me...far more important. What happened TODAY was real, TODAY I met some people who actually made sense, people from all walks of life who just say we're sick of being 'had-off!'....TODAY I wasn't intimidated by political non-sense TODAY I didn't feel like a total 'hippy' or a 'splitter' TODAY I felt involved, TODAY I felt part of something big. Thankyou for TODAY...see you at LEAF on Saturday :0)

Doris against council cuts!

Not quite the same as the banner I'm holding on my blog header, but this one critises cuts that the people of Liverpool are going to feel in the not too distant future. Not something to smile about but I was there to show my support (mostly on the other side of the camera) and you can see Roguetrooper's head there between 'resist' and 'occupy'. Great so many people turned up to show their frustration. They say CUT BACK we say FIGHT BACK :0)

A random saturday morning shop in BnM found me in the gentlemen's grooming aisle (?) where I stumbled across this beauty! For a mere £2.99 you can find yourself completely hairless above the neck! Ask Mr Afro....he's the DOOD! :0)

Heading into Liverpool city centre tomorrow (Bold St midday) to meet up with a load of like minded people to show eachother and everyone else we care for our fellow man and our future, now what's not to smile about there?

Some friends  of mine (John Digween included)  have suggested I may be endorsing certain products on my blog. I agree,  and I also agree it is better to 'acquire' these products than it is to purchase them wherever possible. I'd like to add none of these products are tested on animals and Yankee Candle do not use tallow. I have hi-lighted these items as if anyone desires the best hot chocolate and the sweetest smelling scented candles, you 'acquire' these as opposed to pussyfooting about with the rest :0)

I was listening to Radio 4 on the way to work yesterday morning when I heard a show talking of Sandy Denny, former singer with Fairport Convention (and appearing on Led Zeppelin's 'The Battle of Evermore') and how the lyrics she wrote just before her death have been placed to music. The Best Tortilla Patat outside of SPAIN!

Cooked by my better half this tortilla consisting of eggs, onion, potato and olive oil ONLY....none of your cheese or garlic to dress it up, is FANTASTICO and something to celebrate....knowing I have an unlimited supply of the lovely things. I'm smiling still!!!! (Nobody does it better haha!)!
